What I was looking for was some info on the type of weather forecast that would have the most promising long range viewing conditions. The problem I have been experiencing is mirage like atmospheric distortions of mountains viewed through a couple miles (several K) of nominally clear air. I presume this phenomenon varies with wind and temperature profile. I am hoping to use weather forecasts to anticipate the best viewing.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06966003963091588326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2599082310926453927.post-39862595639047473362010-08-14T19:39:05.594+02:002010-08-14T19:39:05.594+02:00@photogerald, yes, I am gueesing my table needs a ...@photogerald, yes, I am gueesing my table needs a "very bad" column for the urban regions of China ;) I remember my last stay in China and really would like to come back and see where I've been :) :) No, just kidding ... I look forward to trying out your suggestions and techniques.photogeraldhttp://www.dpreview.com/members/1163990309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2599082310926453927.post-19336962270653449312010-04-10T01:34:37.600+02:002010-04-10T01:34:37.600+02:00Ralf, thanks and I enjoyed your Belgian focus.
